When I was little, coloured pencils ruled over protractors, art trumped science, and music came not from the radio, but from my love for the piano.

Then came the rebellion years. I closed the piano, packed away my pencils and, i guess, grew up.

Though time may pass and other priorities may take over, you can't deny those twinkling moments of happiness when you let your heart do what it wants. Spending twelve months in Japan changed my life and reconnected me with all the things I'd always loved.  As I immersed myself in Japanese culture and arts, I discovered the innate gift of the Japanese to bring together seemingly disconnected parts to a harmonious fusion, from food to fashion, homewares to presentation. I believe that helping couples design their wedding day require very similar qualities - an eye for detail, to see what others may not, to consider every aspect of the wedding as related parts of a whole. The Japanese are devoted to perfection, and while this may take a lifetime to achieve, it is on the journey toward that I aspire.

After a few years in corporate event management, a wedding proposal in ancient Kyoto followed, complete with the most beautiful diamond ring I ever saw! I planned my own wedding without a hitch while completing a postgraduate degree (with High Distinction average scores - yes, add 'geek' to my resume!). One Wedding Wish fell into perfect place after that and I haven't looked back since.

My husband Gavin is the love of my life, my greatest supporter and the air I breathe. These days, I continue to gather inspiration and creative ideas from our travels to Europe, the US and Asia, and of course, from the beautiful stories couples share with me.
