There's something a little magical about Quat Quatta. The hustle and bustle around you all but disappear the moment you turn off the avenue into the driveway. I have visited on quiet weekdays when you can perch yourself on the bench under the arbour, and have a few unaccounted minutes all to yourself around the evergreen hedge courtyard. The resident orange tabby cat is particularly forgiving of your intrusion as he enjoys a session of sun-basking on the tiles.
The magic continues inside the beautifully restored Victorian-style white mansion. It is always exciting and sheer pleasure to return to Quat Quatta for a wedding, not just because every corner and facet of Quat Quatta is stunning, but because the professional team who run the place are just the warmest and most wonderful bunch. A very big hug and thank you to Jennifer and John for being so amazing to work with, and supporting Christine and Leon on their most special day.
